We liken her to early Tay Tay mixed with Julia Stone. But the reality is that Tahlia is a being like no other. In her not-that-many years on the planet, she’s done plenty. Tahlia Matheson has played Tamworth Country Music Festival, Byron Bay Blues Fest, and even spent time writing and recording in Nashville… twice!

Tahlia has an incredible ability to take almost any song, and reimagine it in her trademark modern-country folk style. She’s got a set of pipes (‘lungs’, vocal power etc) that really does need to be heard in the flesh to be properly appreciated. Obviously she does ‘country’ with ease. Whether it’s got the classic country twang of years gone by, or it’s something more recent from the new guard, Tay will slay it. But… she’s got a whole lot more than that up her sleeve.

A live set from Tahlia can comprise anything from Bruno Mars to Maroon 5… even Coldplay and U2. And if her love for all genres and eras didn’t already set her apart enough from the stereotypes that plague her generation, Tahlia is also a workaholic.
