Kat + Kieren’s Gold Coast Wedding was a rustic fairy garden loaded with love, laughter and sky-high vibes from the very beginning.
Kat and Kieren’s best day ever was a perfect embodiment of the bride’s vision. Picturesque Gold Coast Wedding Venue, The Acre, known for its lush, natural and idyllic setting, was the perfect backdrop for their love-loaded ceremony and reception. Every detail of the day, from the whimsical decorations to the intimate moments shared between friends and family, reflected the couple’s desire for a day that was as heartwarming as it was memorable.
The highlight of the occasion, as fondly recalled by the couple, was the ceremony. Crafted by Janda Events’ own award-winning male wedding Celebrant, Jake Newell, with his renowned care and attention to detail, it stood out as a testament to their cute-as-heck love story, capturing the essence of their real life journey together. The day a literal fairy-tale beginning to their married life together, filled with joy, love, and endless fun.

What was the vibe and style vision for your wedding day?
“Rustic, fairy garden, fun, chill, lots of love”

“Definitely the ceremony. The funny and heart felt moments. The flower boy not getting down the aisle cause he found rocks half way down, that looked fun to throw. The tear jerking moments in the vows”
If you had to boil your day down and describe it in one sentence, how would you?
“Magical love story with friends and loved ones”
Did you do anything in particular to ensure your true personalities shone through?
“We feel like we personalised everything – down to hand-creating most of the decorations.”
Looking back, is there anything you would have done differently in your wedding planning?
“Maybe we’d have gotten the family to be a bit more organised for photos, so it didn’t take so long – haha.”
What advice would you give to couples currently planning their wedding?
“Enjoy the process.”
Is there a nug of advice you received that was absolute gold to you (or that you now wish you had listened to)?
“We’d pass along the advice our celebrant Jake gave us – to take some moments by ourselves to just slow down and appreciate the day.”
How did having the Janda Fam involved contribute to making your day special?
“Jake personalised our ceremony, like he had know us for years. He felt more like a fun friend marrying us, supporting us leading up to the day and spent time with us to chill out before, calming our nerves, making our love strong come to life.”
Is there a particular moment involving the Janda Fam that stood out to you?
“How incredibly beautiful the ceremony was because of Jake, how much he personalised his delivery and speech to reflect a bit of both our personalities. Not only did we love having Jake from Janda, our family and friends still talk about how great he was to this day. Older family members have told us it was the best wedding they have ever been to, and we know that was all because of Jake.”
